6. Confers with judicial officers on administrative and operational issues to ensure that the bench is provided timely, effective and efficient support; takes action necessary to anticipate and investigate and resolve operations or administrative concerns. 7. Maintains and develops positive relationships at the State and County levels that are critical to the court's operations and financial stature. Must work collaboratively with the Presiding Judge to maintain and develop relationships with representatives of the Legislative and Executive branches of State government, official of San Bernardino County government, other trial courts executive officers, the District Attorney, Public Defender, Probation Department, Sheriff, legal providers and the State Bar of California and local bar groups. 8. Creates and manages uniform recordkeeping systems, collecting data on pending and completed judicial business and the internal operation of the court as required by the court and Judicial Council.

9. Negotiates contracts on behalf of the court in accordance with the established contracting procedures and all applicable laws.

10. Effectively manages the jury system and carries out its provisions within State statutes.

11. Represents the court in business with the public and press, community, the County and other governmental agencies; Coordinates news releases and other formal contacts with the media and public on behalf of the court in consultation with the Presiding Judge.

12. Provides administrative support to the Grand Jury in budgeting, supervision, staff support, facility management, and procurement and office operations.

13. Directs the filing, receipt and processing of all documents, pleadings, records, minutes, orders, and exhibits relating to the court's civil, criminal, mental health, juvenile court, family law, probate, adoption, conservator/guardian, appellate and related court calendars.

14. Serves as a custodian of the records (including exhibits and financial transactions), and processes cases appealed to the District Court of Appeals and Supreme Court.

Performs other duties assigned by the Presiding Judge.
